Study in Poland

Poland is a country in Central Europe. It has a temperate transitional climate and its territory extends from the Baltic Sea in the north to the Sudeten and Carpathian Mountains in the south. The country is bordered by Lithuania and Russia to the northeast, Belarus and Ukraine to the east, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to the south, and Germany to the west. Poland also shares maritime boundaries with Denmark and Sweden. It is one of the most economically developed countries in Eastern Europe and offers a high level of salaries, low housing prices, low taxes compared to other EU countries. A lot of people are choosing Poland for permanent residence or as the first country to “move to Europe”.

MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF SILESIA - Study Medicine in Poland

The Medical University of Silesia is the largest medical school in Poland. It has been established on the 20th of March 1948. At first it was given the name Medical Academy and was placed in Rokitnica Bytomska.

  • Pharmacy - 5.5 year master's degree program lasting for 11 semesters;

  • Medical biotechnology 1-st degree (undergraduate program) lasting for 6 semesters.

FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES:

  • Nursing - 1-st  degree (undergraduate program) lasting 6 semesters / 2-nd degree program lasting 4 semesters;

  • Midwifery - 1-st  degree (undergraduate program) lasting 6 semesters / 2-nd degree program lasting 4 semesters;

  • Physitherapy unified MSc - lasting 10 semesters.
